The Nireus 620 CL is a Greek-built open motorboat designed for the Mediterranean: high freeboard, a wide beam and a hull that handles the afternoon chop well. It's the rental boat for Spanish Navigation Licence (Licencia de Navegación) holders with the most certified places in Marina del Este: ten people on board with room to move around. We have two identical boats, so there's twice the availability and two groups can go out at the same time.
With its 150 hp Yamaha it gets on the plane easily and uses little fuel. In half a day you have time to cruise along the Maro-Cerro Gordo cliffs, anchor at Cantarriján or El Cañuelo cove and head back without rushing. For a full day, the natural route is to go as far as Nerja and Maro waterfall.
If you don't have a licence, you can get the Spanish Navigation Licence (Licencia de Navegación) with us in the morning and take the Nireus out in the afternoon, or book the boat with a skipper.

The Spanish Navigation Licence (Licencia de Navegación, formerly known as the titulín) or any higher qualification: PNB, PER or an equivalent foreign licence. If you don't have one, you can take the one-day course with us or book with a skipper.
At cruising speed around the Maro-Cerro Gordo Natural Site, a half-day trip usually uses between €40 and €60 of petrol. If you go fast the whole time or tow the ring, it goes up.
Yes, it's certified for 10 people and the insurance covers all 10. Children and babies count as one place each. With a skipper, it's 9 passengers plus the skipper. If there are more than ten of you, we have two Nireus 620s and you can go out at the same time.
€600 is held on your card when you collect the boat and released when you return it, once it has been checked. There's no deposit on skippered trips.
